A sports car caught fire at Meijersweg in Emmen on Thursday around 3.45 pm.
The car parked in a garage caught fire when the owner started it. By acting quickly, the owner then managed to get the convertible out of the garage. However, an attempt to extinguish the fire had no effect.
The fire brigade was then alerted. She extinguished the fire.
