Yoga and wellness in Milan, we are waiting for you!

You can participate in our activities (even more than one) guided by expert and qualified coaches: yoga, pilates, running, Nordic walking, calisthenics, tabata, tai chi and holistic workouts. And they are all free! You don’t need specific preparation, you can try your hand even as a neophyte.

As soon as you arrive at the Montanelli Gardens reach the “Welcome Point”, behind the Museum of Natural History, to have a souvenir photo taken, receive a t-shirt with the writing of the discipline you will practice e a backpack with our gadgets. Partners of “A Corpo Libero” are Lycia for pilates, SUN68 for yoga and Curasept for holistic workouts. Ready to join us?

From running to pilates, from punch to yoga, from the most practiced disciplines to the most innovative ones 10 and 11 June you can practice with us 9 sports for 52 training sessions spread throughout the park.

To choose your own sessions is enough register on the site https://acorpolibero.iodonna.it/ and add your name to the sessions you want to join. Then that’s it print and bring with canvas reservation the day of the event. Here you can pick up the free kit at the Welcome Area. Sports and activities

Calisthenics
Saturday 10 June: 11.00 – 12.00; 17.00 – 18.00
Sunday 11 June: 11.00 – 12.00; 17.00 – 18.00

These are circuits of exercises aimed at strengthening of muscle mass, resistance. There is little to no equipment, making this an adaptable activity for any athletic level. In fact, the support of structures such as bars, gymnastic rings and weights is foreseen.

Punch
Saturday 10 June: 10.00-11.00; 16.00-17.00
Sunday 11 June: 10.00-11.00; 16.00-17.00

Punch is an hour long full body workout consisting of intense interval training of boxing techniquesalternate with functional training with the use of small tools.

Nordic walking
Saturday 10 June: 9.00-10.00; 11.00-12.00; 15.00-16.00; 17.00 -18.00
Sunday 11 June: 9.00-10.00; 11.00-12.00; 15.00-16.00; 17.00 -18.00

Nordic Walking (Nordic walking in Italian) consists of a walk in which the arms push in the opposite and alternating way with respect to the feet with the help of special sticks. During training, movements affect up to 90% of the muscles in the body. It is necessary to increase one’s physical vigor, improve overall one’s health and mental vitality. We will understand how to walk with the right posture, to obtain immediate benefits.

Pilates
Saturday 10 June: 10.00-11.00; 12.00-13.00; 16.00-17.00;18.00-19.00

Pilates encourages the use of the mind to control the muscles. The exercises make you aware of breathing and alignment of the spine, strengthening the muscles of the deep plane of the trunk. There are six basic principles of Pilates: concentration, control, center of gravity, fluidity, precision, breathing. The exercises are performed both lying down, therefore on a special mat, and standing up.

Yoga with SUN68

Yoga is the name of a group of physical, mental and spiritual practices and disciplines, with which the restless mind is calmed, while the vital energy is directed constructively. In its implementation it provides a series of positions (asana) and movements to be performed both on the ground and standing. Our yoga is for everyone: basic positions in which to breathe and feel your body, followed by a flow sequence of medium-advanced asanas to work on rooting, balance, strength and self-awareness.

Two different but complementary practices, which can also be used individually. FEEL AND ACT THE BODY: a training to focus on the relationship between the senses, internal and external, and the environment around us.
SENSITIVE FIELDS: a research practice that explores the relationship with the natural environment (the park) through one’s own body and the use of digital tools. The participants, physically present in the same place, are also connected via smartphone and earphones to an online meeting platform (Zoom): an experience between physical and digital where to share proposals for movement and perceptive explorationto train one’s ability to enter into a sensitive relationship with one’s body, others and external space.
