The retail association Sport 2000 expanded its Absolute Teamsport concept in March with new branches in Bremen and Alsdorf. As the company announced on Tuesday, the established specialist dealers Sportfreund Alsdorf and Burdenski Sportswear joined the format. After the reopening, the branch in Alsdorf now bears the name Absolute Teamsport Rauscheid, the Bremen store operates as Absolute Teamsport Burdenski Sportswear.
“We are very pleased to welcome two more top-class stores to our ranks,” said Alexander Löbe, Managing Director of Absolute Teamsport, in a statement. “With their passion for team sports, their many years of expertise and their extensive range of services, they are the leading specialist shops for team sports in their region and are therefore the perfect partners for our concept.”
Absolute Teamsport now has seven branches in Germany, two in Austria and one in the Netherlands. According to Sport 2000, “openings of numerous other stores” in Germany and other European countries are planned for the current year. The aim is to make Absolute Teamsport “the fastest growing top concept in the European team sports market”, explained the trade association belonging to the ANWR Group.
