The trade association Sport 2000 relies in Katja Mendel in the newly created role of Sustainability and Impact Manager.
Mendel took over the task on July 1, said the company belonging to the AnwR Group on Friday. She is responsible for the strategic further development and operational implementation of the “Green Vision” sustainability strategy. She brings experience as a retail format manager of the Sport 2000 Division Outdoor and as a dealer.
“Sustainability is not a trend, but our common responsibility. With the new role, we create a clear structure to further develop our green vision and anchor our dealers in everyday life,” said Sport 2000 Managing Director Margit Gosau. “Katja Mendel not only brings the know-how, but also the necessary sense of trade.”
