Spoor is heading for record number of trained trains in 2025: an average of 4,070 per month

The number of trained trains is remarkably high in the first half of 2025. This is apparent from an analysis by Belga based on figures from rail network manager Infrabel. On average, it is already 4,070 trains per month. In the same period in 2023, the previous record year, there were 4,016 journeys per month.
