Speed ​​skater Scheperkamp scores high with European Championship debut

Merijn Scheperkamp has started the European Championship sprint in Hamar, Norway, well. The Hilversummer is in second place in the general classification after the first day of the tournament. It is Scheperkamp’s first European Championship.

Scheperkamp made his debut in Hamar, because he finished second in the NK sprint. As a result, he qualified for this European Championship. Scheperkamp’s debut started today with the first 500 meters. He finished second behind the Italian Bosa with 35.04. Estonian Marten Liv was third fastest.

The Hilversummer was second again in the first 1,000 meters. This time he had to put up with Hein Otterspeer. Liv also finished third at this distance.
