The German Chancellor Olaf Scholz has experienced a dramatic election day with the SPD. According to the German ExitPoll, which came out at 6 p.m., the Social Democrats brought in only 16 percent of voters. Four years ago, in 2021, the SPD still won more than a 25 percent of the votes.
