Luciano Spalletti has been officially introduced as the new coach of Italian soccer runners-up AS Roma. The 56-year-old, who succeeds the Frenchman Rudi Garcia, who was released the day before, will receive a contract until the summer of 2017 National player Antonio Rüdiger had trained and won the Italian Cup twice and the Supercup once with Roma during this time. Spalletti, most recently employed by Zenit St. Petersburg, celebrates his comeback in Serie A on Sunday against bottom-placed Hellas Verona.
