The former coach of Zenit St. Petersburg, Luciano Spalletti, is apparently the new coach of AS Roma, the club of national soccer player Antonio Rüdigers. This was reported by Italian media on Wednesday. The 56-year-old Spalletti is to replace the Frenchman Rudi Garcia, who has been on the Romans’ coaching bench since 2013. Spalletti is an old acquaintance among Roma. The native of Tuscany had already looked after the club between 2005 and 2009.
