A drink on a sun-drenched terrace is part of the typical holiday image of Spain. But that image is in danger of partly disappearing this summer. The Spanish government wants to temporarily close terraces of bars and restaurants when it gets too hot. The measure mainly aims to protect staff against extreme temperatures, which are becoming increasingly common.
