Sophie Hilbrand receives an ugly sneer from Joling: ‘So dirty!’

Sophie Hilbrand receives a very nasty blow from Gerard Joling. He thinks the presenter of Khalid & Sophie looks very dirty. “She is not a fresh woman.”

Oops, oops, oops: Gerard Joling has apparently not learned from his blood test with Ruud de Wild. The radio DJ was furious when the singer described him in the media as ‘unsavory’, but now he simply sticks that qualification on Sophie Hilbrand. According to the entertainer, the talk show star of NPO 1 looks a bit dirty, a bit filthy.

A bit dingy

Gerard spares Khalid Kasem, but Sophie? No, he doesn’t like that. “I don’t think he’s a bad presenter and he often presents with what’s her name again? Sophie. I find it a bit dusty, a bit dingy. Ooh, I shouldn’t have said that again, of course,” he says from the bar stool Today Inside.

Table guest Özcan Akyol: “But your management isn’t allowed to say that?”

Gerard shouts: “Yes, Sophie! Sophie, between your nose and knee, that’s where it is!”

Not a fresh woman

That Sophie just needs a haircut, Gerard thinks. “Yes, I don’t think she is a fresh woman to look at. Yes, guys, I’m sorry. Oh, I’ve gone too far again. Oh, guys, I’m getting a call from management asking if I want to quit. (…) I prefer to watch your program.”

Sophie recently revealed that she did not vote for the PVV. What about Geer? “Whether I voted PVV? Yes. Just for a change. I didn’t know anymore either. I have always voted VVD and now PVV. A lot of people don’t dare to say it, but I think: let something else happen. The way things are going now, things are not going well.”

Disturbing factor

Gerard’s opinion about the duo Khalid & Sophie is shared by the men of VI. René van der Gijp: “I am bothered by certain types, including those at Op1 or Khalid & Sophie, but Renze Klamer does not bother me.”

Wilfred Genee: “No, not with me either.”

Johan Derksen: “That’s right. No, he’s not disturbing. He is a friendly, enthusiastic boy.”

Technically good

Wilfred also thinks Renze is technically good. “But also technically. Yesterday he did his opening and it went very smoothly, went very well. You immediately feel comfortable in it, you know. I don’t think he did a bad job with the political debate either.”

Gerard: “The only thing he probably shouldn’t have done is with that piano in the beginning.”

Özcan: “Okay. Is he further than Khalid?”

Wilfred: “Khalid? Yes. A little further.”
