Speed skating talent Finn Sonnekalb won two more gold medals at the Junior World Championships in Inzell.
After his disappointment at the Olympics, the 18-year-old from Erfurt won the 1000 m in 1:08.35 minutes on Saturday and also won the all-around title.
At the start on Friday, Sonnekalb triumphed over his branch route 500 m and over the 1500 m.
Only on the longest individual distance of 5000 m did the middle distance specialist not reach the podium despite a personal best of 6:34.48 minutes and came twelfth.
Last year, Sonnekalb won three gold medals at the Junior World Championships in Collalbo, Italy. At the Winter Games in Milan, however, he fell short of expectations with places 12 (1000 m) and 13 (1500 m), partly because of the consequences of an infection.
