Efter Nio – program host Sonja Kailassaari will be on medical leave. He tells about it in his Instagram update.
– Today is the last Efter Nio of the season. And mine for a while. I will now be on medical leave from the turn of the year until autumn. I want to stop for a moment and follow that 2.5 year old guy who is growing up too fast, he writes with heart.
Kailassaarella has a 2-year-old child with actor Aku Hirviniemi.

Kailassaari added pictures to Instagram where he poses together with the program’s employees.

He is accompanied by journalist Eva Kela in the program. The same person who took care of Kailassaari when she was on parental leave in 2023. In the comments section of the publication, fans react positively to Kailassaari’s decision.

Sonja Kailassaari missed out for the most part Efter Nio – program in June 2023 due to parental leave. He returned to the show in August 2024. He has hosted the show since its early days, since 2014.
