A deeply divided South Korea goes to the polls today to prefer a successor to Yoon Suk-Yeol. It still collapsed the Asian country in chaos in December by announcing the war law for six hours. He was dropped off later. The new president has to restore confidence in democracy, while tensions with North Korea increase and the alliance with the US becomes uncertain.
