Sointu Borg’s statement on the modern phenomenon in the podcast: “It’s not fair to men!”

Sointu Borg hopes that at some point men would be allowed to be soft and humane.

Entrepreneur and media personality Chord Borg31, and presenter Janni Hussi32, reflect on the “soft girl” trend among young people. In this phenomenon, women want to invest in household chores, well-being and hobbies instead of chasing success and a career.

Borg himself considers that it is a polished message to women, that “back between the fist and the affection”. The entrepreneur feels that pampering could be more necessary for men.

– In my opinion, it would be great if there was a soft boy era. But they can’t be soft boys, because nowadays everyone wants a “provider man”, he says in the episode.

In the context of the same conversation, the two ponder the strange idea that masculinity is not suited to cuddling like femininity. However, Borg hopes that at some point men would be given room for humanity.

He wonders about the way of thinking of some women, according to which a man has failed if he is not able to finance things for his partner.

– I’ve really been worried about it at times. I’ve seen a lot of this on Tiktok that a woman doesn’t pay anything for anything. It’s not fair to men! Se, että minulla on pillu, ei tarkoita sitä, että minulle pitää maksaa aivan kaikki, yrittäjä muistuttaa.

Hussi says that he has also encountered a phenomenon on Facebook where women demand that men earn a six-figure sum a year before they would agree to date them. This kind of phenomenon nauseates the plot couple. Borg is particularly appalled at how this thinking model is entangled with women’s empowerment.

– I’m sorry, but the thought distortion that “I’m so beautiful and special that I deserve a billionaire” has become a bit of a whiner, says Borg.
