As part of a distribution deal with the TV broadcaster Sport1, the streaming provider DAZN will in future be showing the traditional football talk show “Doppelpass”. The first program will be broadcast on the platform next Sunday (11:00 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.).
The “Doppelpass” has established itself since the first broadcast in 1995. Various guests from professional football and sports journalism deal with the most important topics of German football in this format.
DAZN broadcasts Bundesliga games live on Fridays and Sundays. On August 5 (8:30 p.m.), DAZN and Sat.1 will show the opening game between Europa League winner Eintracht Frankfurt and champions Bayern Munich, on August 7 the games between VfB Stuttgart and DFB Cup winner will run exclusively on DAZN RB Leipzig (3:30 p.m.) and between 1. FC Köln and newly promoted Schalke 04 (5:30 p.m.).
In the new season, DAZN will broadcast the games of the Bundesliga and the top games of the Champions League in full HD quality (1080p) and produce them directly from the stadium.
