Regensburg three times with aluminum, KSC more efficient

The KSC started powerfully in front of 18,000 spectators in the wildlife park. Regensburg only got into the game after 15 minutes, but all the more impressive: Andreas Albers failed with his header to KSC goalkeeper Marius Gersbeck, who still directed the ball to the post of the Karlsruhe goal.

Kaufmann did better right afterwards on the other side when Karlsruhe scored the opening goal. However, the home side continued to be negligent with their chances. However, Jahn was unlucky because Sarpreet Singh’s long-range shot only hit the crossbar (37th minute).

After the change of sides, things got hotter. The Regensburgers pushed for the compensation. This created spaces for KSC, but none of the counterattacks were consistently played to the end. But Jahn was also unsuccessful: Shortly before the final whistle, Singh attempted a shot at the goal posts again (90′).
