‘So sad those half-empty halls!’

Hans Klok has been struggling for years with halls that never sell out and they were half empty again this weekend. That’s a shame, says EenVandaag presenter Lammert de Bruin. “I can not believe it.”

Many people who have been to Hans Klok can attest to this: the hall is almost never full. That’s a shame, says EenVandaag presenter Lammert de Bruin. Last weekend he was present at the show Hans Klok & Friends in a large theater tent in Soest and the stands were also sparsely filled.

Half-empty room

Lammert draws attention to it on social media. “I was at Hans Klok & Friends in Soest tonight (from Las Vegas to Soest is a small step). So that man travels with circus tents and all over the country. With all the top artists (Monte Carlo Circus Festival winners and Guinness world record holders) and the tent was HALFLEEG?!”

Bizarre, thinks the presenter. “It was really a top show that would not have been out of place in Las Vegas. Hans would be there for 10 years but that was canceled because of Corona. Instead of giving up, he has now created a whole circus (without animals) from scratch. What a resilience.”

“Incredible!”

Hans deserves more audience, says Lammert. “That half-empty tent… I just can’t believe it. For two years we complained that everything was closed, that we were not allowed in anywhere without a test or shot, and now that all is no longer the case, do we stay at home? Go see that show people because it’s really worth it!”

Many people point out to Lammert that they cannot afford Hans’ tickets – which cost up to 90 euros per person – at all. “So I can’t afford that. Have you ever thought about that?”, one Dirk-jan shouts.

Priceless

Susanne gives Lammert a good scolding. “Would have loved to have gone there when Hans Klok & Friends was practically in my backyard with that same show. But the fact that the tickets are simply unaffordable for some people does not even occur to celebrities who earn far above average. otherworldly.”

Lammert annoyed: “You try to say something positive to encourage hardworking artists. But then there is always a Susanne who knows how to give it a negative twist and plays nice on the man. Have a nice day Susan! Hope you get a lot of likes!”
