Johannes Oerding gave further insights into his relationship with Ina Müller and spoke about the spatial separation of the two. For the most part, the two musicians don’t share their relationship with the public.

Even after more than thirteen years, the physical separation

The two still own separate apartments after thirteen years and have never lived together since then. Due to Oerding’s activities as host of “Sing meine Song – Das Tauschkonzert” and Ina’s role as presenter of “Ina’s Nacht”, the couple sometimes does not see each other for a long period of time.

Oerding explained this in the NDR program “Das!” from November 10th: “I think it’s more like you have to get to know each other a little bit, depending on how long the time in between was, of course. But you also learn that over the years, you know that it is like that. And that’s why you can prevent it. It’s like this, like that, and I have the feeling that I can deal with it quite well. And we now have a good toolbox with tools that make our lives easier.”

The couple makes music together

In 2019, the love duet “I don’t have to lose you anymore” was released on Oerding’s record “Konturen”. In the same year, the couple also played the joint song live on “Ina’s Nacht”:

Oerding provides hidden details to get to know in “Ecke Schmilinsky”.

Plan A, the musician’s seventh studio album, was released this year. There is also “Ecke Schmilinsky” on it, in which he sings about getting to know each other. There it says:

“At half past midnight on the ReeperbahnI can’t remember how many drinks it was (…)

The door opens and the noise dies downYou float in and the room gets lightI’m just pretending I haven’t seen youBut you come straight to me and ask me for a fag (…)

you did something to meBecause it no longer clapped in time in my chest, oh yes (…)”
