Alison Goldfrapp, singer of the electro duo Goldfrapp named after her, released her third single of the current year today (Thursday, March 16). “So Hard So Hot” follows “Fever” with Paul Woolford and “Digging Deeper” with Claptone. With the single she also announced that her first solo album THE LOVE INTENTION will be released on May 12th.
The record will include the two songs with Woolford and Claptone as solo versions. However, they are intended as parts of a deluxe version. The last Goldfrapp album SILVER EYE was released in 2017. Since 2022, Alison Goldfrapp has guested on a number of occasions without her creative partner Will Gregory, including on two standalone titles by Norwegian electronica duo Röyksopp. She can also be heard on their PROFOUND MYSTERIES trilogy, which was released in 2022.
