Snoop Dogg, probably the most famous stoner in the music world, wants to put an end to smoking.
His love for marijuana is at least as well known as his music. Snoop Dogg is rarely seen without a joint. He even had his own employee to do the rolling. Renegade Piranha, who was hired specifically for his preference, spoke on “The Kyle And Jackie O Show“that the rapper “smokes between 75 and 150 joints a day and that he never goes anywhere without a blunt“.
Even during his appearance at the halftime show of the 2022 Superbowl, Snoop Dogg is said to have smoked a joint on stage. But now the rapper wants to put an end to consumption.
On November 16th he announced that he wanted to give up smoking weed. Snoop Dogg wrote on his social media accounts: “After careful consideration and discussions with my family, I have decided to quit smoking. Please respect my privacy at this time.”
It’s not really clear from the statement whether he means smoking in general or just smoking weed. The fans’ reactions were varied. Some suspect that the 52-year-old is just joking. Others suspect health reasons and are worried.
