Snoop Dogg pays a “Professional Blunt Roller” for $50,000 a year

It’s widely known that Snoop Dogg doesn’t hide his love for cannabis. As early as 2012, Snoop Dogg revealed in a fan chat how much of the green tuber he smokes every day. His answer was astonishing: The rapper smokes 81 joints a day, “sometimes even more”. Of course, building such a sum takes a lot of time. So Snoop Dogg found a solution: He hired an employee.
The employee is said to earn $50,000 a year for building joints. Snoop Dogg has been outspoken about marijuana for years. In fact, the rapper smokes weed wherever he pleases. This was also the case at the Super Bowl halftime show in 2022. Despite the ban, he lit a joint on the stage staircase – to the annoyance of the NFL. While recreational smoking is now legal in the state of California, it may not be publicly broadcast on television.
Snoop Dogg is investing in the future of cannabis
Snoop Dogg also supports the marketing of cannabis financially. The rapper invested in the Hessian start-up “Cansativa”. This received 13 million US dollars from three US investors. One investor is Snoop Dogg. In 2021 he also became an investor in a Berlin cannabis startup called “Sanity Group”. The rapper was said to be contributing $3.5 million there. Among other things, the company is committed to legalizing cannabis in Germany.
Snoop Dogg released his nineteenth studio album BODR on February 11, 2022. But he also made serious negative headlines.
