Snipes opens a “We The Best” store in Miami with DJ Khaled. The opening is planned for this summer, the Cologne streetwear retailer told FashionUnited. However, an exact date is not yet known.
Located on Miami Beach on Collins Avenue, the store reflects South Florida’s sneaker and streetwear culture. Accordingly, the range consists of sneakers and clothing. There are no further details on this yet.
However, it is planned that regular DJs and up-and-coming artists should ensure a good atmosphere. The award-winning record producer DJ Khaled, who has also been working closely with founder Sven Voth as Chief Creative Officer at Snipes since the end of 2019, is of course particularly familiar with this.
The store is not only the first joint retail experience with DJ Khaled, it is also the first store in Miami. The retailer is thus continuing its expansion in the USA. Snipes acquired US sneaker retailer Jimmy Jazz in 2021 and then US streetwear retailer Expressions last year. With the two acquisitions, the company expanded its US locations to 300.
