The police received a report of a street robbery on the Westfriese Parkweg in Hoorn, near the Van der Valk hotel, this afternoon around 3:15 p.m. A major search was launched, including the use of sniffer dogs and a drone.
Multiple arrests not excluded
About an hour and a half later, two suspects were arrested. The police have not ruled out that more arrests will follow, a spokesperson said. “The search is still ongoing, so we ask local residents and witnesses to contact us if they have seen anything.”
