Leftists and Greens are critical of the network controls, but the police are undeterred. With a policy of pinpricks, she tries to counter organized crime.
Together with customs, tax investigation and the regulatory office, the officials keep checking pubs, bars and late night shops.
The detected violations of the law are rarely spectacular – but a message is sent: the rule of law cannot be danced around on its nose.
Of course, bad gangsterism does not hide behind every violation of the non-smoker protection law. And certainly not every shisha bar is a place of criminal energy!
But the police raids are not indiscriminate, the procedure has been planned for a long time. By the way, Al Capone’s criminal career ended for tax evasion.
