That would be an absolute blast… FC Bayern is reportedly working on a return for Jérôme Boateng (35)! This is reported by “Sky”.

Accordingly, the record champions are dealing with the central defender without a club. Boateng was most recently under contract with Olympique Lyon, but was rarely able to impress there.

According to “Sky”, the club bosses really want Boateng.

Because there is a shortage of defenders in the club! With Minjae Kim, Dayot Upamecano and Matthijs de Ligt, Bayern only have three regular central defenders in the squad. All three were missing from the cup game against Münster, coach Thomas Tuchel had to rely on Leon Goretzka and Noussair Mazraoui.

Apparently there will be another meeting between the Boateng side and Bayern on Sunday.

Boateng moved from Manchester City to Bayern in 2011 for 13.5 million euros. He won the triple with the record champions in 2013 and 2020.

Now there could be a spectacular return…
