Sky commentator Marcus Lindemann is celebrating his comeback

For several weeks, Sky commentator Marcus Lindemann had disappeared from the scene. Now he announced why. On Saturday he will make his comeback at a Bundesliga match.

“Come on together. The nicest minor matter is now relevant for me again.” With these words, the football commentator Marcus Lindemann begins his 90-second video message, which his regular channel “Sky” published on Twitter.

Lindemann had not previously worked for Sky for weeks. In his video message he now announced the reason: the paralysis of the right side of his face.

Time of complete genesis still unclear

“After an operation, the nerve responsible for this was affected, which has led to what is known as facial paralysis,” said the 56-year-old.

Lindemann is still aware of the after-effects of the operation, although both doctors and therapists have assured him that “the nerves and muscles will be fully functional again.” But the timing is still unclear.

The news that Lindemann also had to announce was all the more gratifying. Already on Saturday at the league game between Bayer Leverkusen and Union Berlin (3:30 p.m., in the t-online live ticker) Lindemann will be working for Sky again.

Lindemann is “well aware that there are many people who are worse off than me. That is another reason why I do not want pity, but just a little understanding that my pronunciation will sound different in the near future than it did before expected me. ”
