In a sample of patients in Moscow, which was made by the Federal Biomedical Agency (FMBA) to study its test system, the proportion of those infected with the omicron strain of coronavirus was more than 76%. About it told FMBA head Veronika Skvortsova on the air of the Russia 24 TV channel.

According to Skvortsova, the share of those infected with the omicron strain exceeded 76%, while in mid-December the share of the omicron was 1% -2%, at the end of December – about 7%, and at the beginning of January – about 20%.
