Based on the Meb platform Volkswagen groupElroq is 4,488 mm long, with a wheelbase of 2,770 mm, with a trunk which offers 470 liters of minimum capacity and all the accessories to better organize the load of luggage. The features of the bodywork follow the dictates of the stylistic course Modern Solid undertaken by the most recent cars of the Bohemian company, recognizable by the light clusters divided into two light points: the lower one with full LED low beams and high beams, the upper one, very thin, where the daytime lights are well integrated into the glossy black grille. The passenger compartment is pleasant, airy as per Skoda tradition and modern in layout which rewards both aesthetics and ergonomics. The upper level of the dashboard houses the small digital instrument panel, set back from the generous one 13″ display with connected satellite navigation system as standard. It offers both real-time traffic display and Over the Air map updating, as well as being capable of self-updating. Remote access and control of the vehicle status via app are standard, together with the media streaming service and the possibility of downloading and installing a series of additional smart apps that improve the functionality of the vehicle. An example is the possibility of manage parking from outside the carusing your smartphone as a sort of remote control. The engine is powered by a battery with a gross capacity of 55 kWh (52 kWh net) which guarantees a maximum range of over 370 km in the WLTP mixed combined cycle. The now imminent Elroq 60 it boasts 150 kW/203 HP and 310 Nm of torque, with a 63 kWh battery (59 kWh net) for a range of over 400 km. The largest battery, with a capacity of 82 kWh (77 kWh net), is intended for the most powerful Elroq 85 rear-wheel drive, powered by a 210 kW/286 HP engine and a torque of 545 Nm. The declared autonomy in the WLTP combined cycle is more than 560 km. As regards charging times, they go from 25 minutes (battery from 10 to 80%) for the versions Elroq 50 and Elroq 60which support up to 145 kW and 165 kW respectively, while the 82 kWh battery of the two 85 variants (with a charging speed of up to 175 kW) is capable of completing the same process in 28 minutes at charging stations fast direct current charging. All Elroq models support charging speeds of up to 11 kW at AC charging stations. Skoda Elroq 50 it is equipped as standard with Front Assist for automatic braking with pedestrian recognition, Lane Assist for maintaining the lane, Side Assist for monitoring the blind spot and overtaking phase together with cross traffic monitoring when reversing Rear Traffic Alert with automatic braking. Versatility and comfort are the key words of the Skoda Elroq, in the space suitable for a family with luggage offered inside the passenger compartment, or in the narrow spaces of the city centre, given the turning radius of 9.3 metres. A record or almost for an electric SUV that is almost 4.50 meters in length, capable of moving with the discreet panache shown by the entry-level Elroq 50. Agile and economical in the city, it easily allows you to tackle weekend trips on the motorway, where it showed a consumption of 17 kWh/100 km with a speed close to the imposed limit of 120 km/h. The more powerful and heavier Elroq 85 adds consistency in starting and accelerating, immediately showing a vocation for longer distances compared to the basic version, also supported by the integration of the suite of Adas systems for level 2 assisted driving. Used for a long time during the tests carried out on Spanish roads, with perfectly maintained horizontal and vertical signs, did not show a single uncertainty for tens of kilometres, in addition to returning benefits in terms of autonomy, which appeared close to the declared data.
