A Swiss woman there

From the Swiss team, only one of the two starters was able to hold her own. Emely Torazza ended up in 28th place. It was just not enough for Sina Arnet and missed the individual competition in 42nd place.

Six Austrians

Just like the German team, Austria also has six athletes. In addition to top jumper Eva Pinkeling, Jaqueline Seifriedsberger is also starting, who is actually one of the best, but had to settle for 19th place in the qualification. The ÖSV team is completed by Lisa Eder, Marita Kramer, Julia Mühlbacher and Chiara Kreuzer.

Schmid best German

Katharina Schmid is currently in fourth place in the Raw Air after being second before yesterday’s competition. But the prologue gives hope, because the Oberstdorfer only had to admit defeat to Eirin Kvandal. Selina Freitag was also in good form and finished the qualification in eighth place. The German squad is completed by Agnes Reisch, Anna Ruprecht, Luisa Görlich and Juliane Seyfarth. This means that all DSV jumpers who started are represented in today’s individual event.

Kvandal in the lead

Eirin Kvandal leads the Raw Air rankings and won the qualification again in the morning. Eva Pinkelnig comes 52 points behind the Norwegian. The Austrian came fifth in the qualification. The leader in the overall World Cup, Nika Prevc, is currently in third place in the Raw Air ranking. However, the Slovenian had to struggle with the conditions in qualifying and ended up only 13th.
