Austria in wait
The Austrian team is lying in wait. Chiara Kreuzer, Jan Hörl, Eva Pinklenig and final jumper Stefan Kraft should reach for the medal here. In the previous five decisions in the mixed competition, it was enough for an ÖSV medal four times and the chances are not bad today either.

Germany top favourite
After the results of the last few days, the German team is the top favorite and has the chance to bring home the mixed title for the fifth time in a row. The competition will be opened by Selina Freitag, followed by Karl Geiger and Katharina Althaus. Andreas Wellinger should set the final point for the German team.

difficult winds
The conditions at the hill today aren’t ideal and it seems as if one has to be prepared for the fact that there could be breaks from time to time. There are already a lot of interruptions in the rehearsal because the wind is sometimes too strong to give a go. The last athletes still have to cross the hill there and so it remains to be seen whether it will actually start at 5:00 p.m. sharp.

15 teams registered
The acceptance of the mixed competition is great and with 15 teams there is a large starting field. Many small nations were able to enter due to the competition format of one woman and one man. However, the surprise Olympic champion Canada will be missed. Since Matthew Soukup is currently pausing his career, the team is missing a second jumper with competitive experience.

Mixed team decision pending
At the Nordic World Ski Championships in Planica, the fourth medal decision in ski jumping is already waiting. After the women’s individual competition, the women’s team competition and the men’s individual competition, the final decision on the normal hill follows today with the mixed competition. It’s supposed to start at 17:00.
