Ski jumper Justin Lisso underwent cruciate ligament surgery after a training fall. The German Ski Association announced this on Friday via Instagram.
The operation on the right knee “went well”, the post said, but Lisso will still miss the coming season.
The 23-year-old gave a thumbs-up and smiled in the attached photo. According to the DSV, the goal for the ski jumper is the 2025 World Championships in Trondheim, Norway.
