Ski freestyle: Laffont and Kingsbury in a class of their own at the season finale

Perrine Laffont and Mikael Kingsbury were also unbeatable on the moguls in the World Cup final and crowned their perfect season.

Even before the last race this winter, the two world champions were sure of victory in the overall Moguls World Cup. In Almaty (Kazakhstan) they underlined their exceptional position on the mogul slope and were again at the top.

30 World Cup win for Laffont

Laffont prevailed in her final against the American Jaelin Kauf. The Frenchwoman was awarded 21 points, her opponent only 14. For Laffont it is already the 30th World Cup victory in her career. After 2018/19 and 2019/20, she also wins the overall ranking for the third time.

Kingsbury makes the 80 full

Kingsbury could also look forward to a round number of World Cup victories. The most successful athlete of all time on the mogul slope has already achieved his 80th (!) success in the World Cup in Almaty. His final against the Swede Walter Wallberg was also a clear affair. The 30-year-old Canadian took the win with 22 to 13 points.
