The stalker is said to have not only molested the long runner online, but also personally. In May 2024, for example, he appeared at a running event in which Karlsson took part. A few weeks later he was seen in front of the Swedish private house.

Designed ignores contact ban

In November 2024, a ban on contact against the 65-year-old was finally issued, which he did not accept according to his own statement. Spicy: In the same month, the man tried twice to buy a flight ticket to Tenerife, where Karlsson was at that time to recover from an injury. His second purchase was successful, but he did not appear at the airport.

When asked about this, he said in the interrogation when asked why he wanted to travel to Karlsson in Tenerife: “Because I am persistent and will not give up.”

The defendant’s lawyer claimed that his client did not pursue any bad intentions. “We will see whether he has crossed the line and is a criminal. But he says himself that he only meant well,” said the representative.
