The Investigative Committee will check information about the fall of ice from the roof of the house on a one-year-old child in Khimki, because of which he received a bruised head injury. This was reported to RBC by Olga Vradiy, senior assistant to the head of the investigative department for the Moscow region.

According to the agency, the incident occurred on February 4, the child was taken to the hospital after falling ice. “Immediately organized a pre-investigation check. Currently, the causes and circumstances of the incident are being established, ”the Investigative Committee said.

The administration of Khimki told RBC that a man with a child born in 2020 went to the hospital, who complained about ice falling when leaving the Nixor Clinic private medical facility at the address: house number 52 on Molodezhnaya Street.

An hour after the incident, representatives of the administration examined the scene and found no ice and icicles on the balconies, air conditioners and the roof of the house. City officials said the 25-story building has a sloping roof that prevents icicles from forming on it.
