On April 1, six DAB+radio stations threatened to disappear from the ether. That is because the company that insures the broadcasts, Belgian Tower Company, returns its license to the Flemish Regulator for the Media (VRM). Among other things, four channels from DPG Media and a channel from SBS threatened to disappear from the ether. But Flemish MP Manu Dierickx (N-VA) has an emergency decree with a solution ready. That decree is on the agenda of the Media Committee on Thursday.
