Six Britons died and 1,500 fell ill after holiday in Cape Verde, lawyers call the situation “worrying” and sue TUI

Four British tourists have died in the past four months after holidaying in Cape Verde. Since 2023, the count has reached six Britons who became seriously ill after their trip and died from serious gastrointestinal complaints. The families of the victims are now taking legal action against travel company TUI, which organized the holidays.
