An armored event, very private, without the press, but with many illustrious guests. At the Hotel Palazzo Paris in Milan, Brera area – now Milanese headquarters by Jannik Sinner – the foundation was presented that bears the name of number 2 in the world. A project that blue feels like a personal mission: it aims at the education and support of the boys and young sports talents who do not have the means to pursue their dreams.

who was

Not surprisingly, the event were representatives of Italian finance and all the main sponsors of Sinner, ready to support him also in this new adventure. David Coulthard, Formula 1 world vice -champion in 2001 with McLaren, presented was present. A choice perfectly in line with the interests of Jannik, enthusiast of engines, and Ambassador of the F1. At the evening, among others, Flavio Briatore and Andrea Bocelli also, with which the former number 1 in the world has recorded a song, in addition to the president of Fedentennis and Padel Angelo Binaghi.

the project

The presentation of the project, which lasted about 45 minutes, alternated interventions and images. Sinner himself took the floor, his manager Alex Vittur, president of the Foundation and his wife Cristina Tauber, as director. Stefano Domenicali, CEO of F.1 and Board member together with Luca Maestri, former CFO of Apple, also illustrated his role. The Milanese evening was the time to illustrate the contours of a project born from a simple but ambitious idea: to return to sport what sport has given to the sample. An intention that Jannik had already announced on the eve of the Turin 2024 finals and which will now become reality. The atmosphere at Palazzo Paris was collected, almost familiar. Alongside Jannik there were also parents Sigblinde and Hans-Peter plus his brother Mark, in addition to his ever staff. A light dinner: saffron risotto and veal fillet in crust with puree. Someone also waited for Anna Wintour, a great Sinner fan and often at his side in his most significant moments, but the historic director of Vogue was unable to intervene at the event. This was the first act of a wider project. Not only a gesture of generosity, but the signal of a new maturity: that of a champion who wants to be not only a sporty symbol, but also a social point of reference, capable of combining sponsors, friends and institutions in a project that looks to the future of young people.
