Maroon 5 frontman Adam Levine has taken to Instagram to deny rumors of an alleged affair.
“I haven’t had an affair, yet I crossed a line at an unfortunate time in my life,” the 43-year-old wrote on Tuesday. “In certain cases it became inappropriate,” he explained.
“It was a mistake to speak in a flirtatious tone to anyone other than my wife.” With his Instagram post, Levine responded to a Tiktok video in which a woman claimed to have had an affair with him.
Levine said he’s currently trying to work things out with his wife, Behati Prinsloo. “My wife and family are all I care about in this world. Being naïve and stupid enough to jeopardize the only thing that really matters in my life was the biggest mistake I could ever make.”
The singer and model have been married for eight years and are expecting their third child together.
