The PS5 exclusive Final Fantasy VII Rebirth is now here, and in this quick guide we will explain when you can start playing it.
Final Fantasy VII Rebirth is almost here: we will all be able to play the second part of this remake trilogy very, very soon. The new chapter is much longer than the first, with large open areas, more side stories and lots of things to explore.

FF7R will be released on Thursday, February 29, 2024 at midnight ET for all regions of the United States and at midnight local time for the rest of the world, therefore also in Italy.
This is due to the operation of the PlayStation Store. Since the US is considered one large region, all times are EST, meaning anyone further west will be able to play first, with release at 9pm PT. If you’ve already pre-ordered, you can pre-load FF7R right now and we recommend you do so as it’s a 145GB download.
