Silver in cross-country skiing: Second medal for Marco Maier

Zhangjiakou (AP) – Marco Maier won his second silver medal at the Paralympics in Beijing. In the cross-country sprint, the 22-year-old finished second on the Zhangjiakou course, 1.3 seconds behind Paralympic champion Benjamin Daviet of France.

Maier, who is missing three front finger joints on his left hand, already won silver in biathlon at his Paralympics premiere in China.
