“Unfortunately, we do not yet have a common understanding with the Central Bank. I think that it will be difficult for us to achieve such an understanding, but we are trying. On those positions on which we clearly have disagreements, we will try to regulate in accordance with the current procedures, ”said the head of the Ministry of Finance. There is a procedure for removing disagreements through a special table, which will be considered by the government, he recalled.

Cryptocurrency is a volatile instrument with risks, and “it is necessary to limit the opportunities for unqualified investors to use this instrument as an investment of their resources,” Siluanov believes.

“We can ensure traceability of him (the investor. — RBC) actions, including calculations. This is much more correct than the situation that exists today. When we do not know how many there are – 12 million, 19 million, 5 million participants in this market. The fact is that the market is gray, so if you provide control, you can identify the participants, and we want to do this.
