TO start from 5pm today Wednesday 18 December, SIISL opens its doors to all citizensThe Information system for social and working inclusionmarking an important turning point in the process of digitalisation of the labor market. The platform, managed by INPSthus evolves from a tool dedicated to benefit recipients to a universal point of reference for matching job supply and demand.
SIISL platform to find work
The most significant innovation is the use of Artificial Intelligence to facilitate matching between candidates and job positions. The platform analyzes the skills indicated in the CVs and calculates an “affinity index” for each job offer, also suggesting training courses aimed at filling any professional gaps.
How the INPS service works
To access the service, citizens can upload their curriculum vitaespecify your professional aspirations and consult the job offers most relevant to your profile. But not only that, because companies can also use the portal to publish job advertisements and manage the applications received.
With Naspi and Discoll, what happens
Particular attention is paid to the recipients of Naspi and Discoll, for whom registration on the platform becomes mandatory. These users have 15 days to complete their profile and sign the PAD, the Digital Activation Pact. The procedure also includes updating the CV and the declaration of availability for work, with the possibility of making one’s profile visible to employment agencies.
On the SIISL portal, not just job offers
The platform is not limited to job offers: also includes a section dedicated to trainingwhere users can find courses relevant to their area of interest. And, a particularly innovative aspect is the possibility of verifying the employment success rate of the various training courses, allowing more informed choices.
The role of the Employment Centres
The system also provides for an active role of the Employment Centreswho must summon the beneficiary within 90 days of requesting benefits to stipulate the Personalized service agreement. From February 2025, operators will be able to provide direct assistance in completing documents on the platform.
Penalties for those who do not comply with obligations
To ensure the effectiveness of the system, sanctions are foreseen for those who do not comply with the obligations: from the reduction of a quarter of a month’s salary for the first non-compliance up to the possible forfeiture of the subsidy and unemployment status for repeated non-compliance.
Important evolution for the world of work
This universal opening of the SIISL represents the last step in a journey that began in September 2023, when the platform was initially launched for beneficiaries only of the Inclusion Allowance and Training Supportthe measures that replaced Citizenship Income. The evolution of the platform marks an important step towards the modernization of the Italian labor market, promising to make the meeting between those seeking and those offering work more efficient and transparent.
