Sierra Leone does have ears to deliver ‘Bolle Jos’ from Breda, the convicted drug criminal who has been staying in the West African country for some time. But they want someone in return, namely ‘adebayor’. That is a political refugee who has been living in Eindhoven for years and from there leads the resistance to the government in Sierra Leone, De Volkskrant reports.
For weeks our country has been under the spell of Jos Leijdekkers from Breda, aka Bolle Jos. The most wanted drug criminal in the Netherlands was sentenced in absentia last June to 24 years in prison for involvement in six drug transports of a total of six thousand kilos of cocaine. Halfway through January it became clear that he has been staying in Sierra Leone for some time and would even maintain a love affair with the daughter of the President of the Land.
After much weighing and roads, the Netherlands has submitted an extradition request to the West African country, but so far that seems to be not yielding much. Sierra Leone announced a manhunt, but according to opposition leader Mohamed Kamarainba Mansaray is nothing true. In fact, the drug criminal would be protected by the authorities.
“They lie. They protect him and try to kill everyone, “the opposition leader previously told Omroep Brabant. “The authorities have known for years what Jos is doing and really don’t want him to go, because he provides income. That’s how it works there. Everything revolves around money. “
Prison exchange
But that can sometimes be very different, writes de Volkskrant. Media in the country openly hints that Sierra Leone feels something for a kind of prison exchange. For years, a political refugee has been living in Eindhoven who makes radio programs every week in which he fiercely against the current government in the country.
The political influencer is one of the most important drivers of protests against the enormous inflation and the government. Three years ago those demonstrations got out of hand. It came to fight between demonstrators and the police. At least 27 were killed.

This adebayo, whose real name is probably Abdul Will Kamara, has been a thorn in the eye for years. Nothing rather they see this man disappear as quickly as possible. Last week the Sierra Leoons minister of information Chernor Bah announced that he had already submitted an extradition request to the Netherlands twice during a press conference. But without success. The Ministry of Justice and Security in the Netherlands only confirms to the newspaper that there have been conversations with Sierra Leone about ‘The case of Adebayor’ and ‘The (im) possibilities with regard to this case in the Netherlands’.
Protection
The big question is and remains of course whether the proposed deal is possible at all. AdeBayor enjoys protection in our country as a political dissident. And the chance that he ends up in jail immediately for the rest of his life or disappears without it when he is delivered is life -size. AdeBayor is not worried at least. “I am in the Netherlands, I am safe and I am not going anywhere,” he says in a video.
