Erlangen (dpa-AfX)-Siemens Healthineers CEO Bernd Montag should be at the top of the Erlangen Dax Group by 2031. The Supervisory Board has extended prematurely on Mondays, as the medical technology manufacturer announced. The manager, born in Munich in 1969 and former basketball professional, has headed Siemens Healthineers since 2015 and is already one of the long-serving board heads. CFO Jochen Schmitz should also remain in office until 2031.
Both employment contracts would have expired in March 2026. In contrast to many other industrial companies, business at Siemens Healthineers is going well, in the first quarter of its current financial year the company had reported sales growth from 5.7 percent to just under 5.5 billion euros
