Fog, Kohr and Amiri – three Mainz goals in Mönchengladbach

Paul Nebel scored in the 39th minute and in the middle of a Gladbach urge phase for the Mainz lead. Immediately after the restart, Mainz shocked the hosts for the second time, Dominik Kohr (48th) increased to 2-0 in the replacement of Nadiem Amiri’s free kick.

With the connection, Stefan Lainer provided a new hope for the Gladbachers – which, however, quickly evaporated: Amiri made (77th) with a full shot from the penalty area to the Mainz 3: 1 and the decision.
