After the great earthquake disasters that shook our country; In the main partnership of the Ministry of Youth and Sports, Turkish Football Federation (TFF), Süper Lig Clubs Association Foundation and beIN Media Group; A Spor, beIN Sports, D Smart Sports, Tivibu Spor, TRT Spor and TV8.5 will start the “Shoulder to Shoulder” solidarity and solidarity campaign on March 1st. The campaign, which will be used to meet the needs of containers and all shelters in earthquake zones, will continue until June 15th.

85 MILLION SHOULDER SHOULDER WITH ALL OF THEIR FRIENDS
“We aim to bring together everyone who gives their heart to football in Turkey and abroad and whose heart beats for Turkey after the earthquake disasters, with the joint live broadcast to be broadcast on television and radio starting on Wednesday, March 1, 2023, at 20.00. We are planning to perform with the leading names of our community, especially our team players, our coaches, the art world and the sports press.We expect the participation of FIFA, UEFA, managers of foreign Football Federations and international star football players who have made their support felt closely during this period.
The revenues to be obtained during the long-term campaign will be used to meet the housing needs of our citizens in the earthquake area. We stand shoulder to shoulder in order to heal the wounds after the great disaster and to make our people feel strongly about our support as the football world during the recovery period; we are working together to reduce our nation’s concerns for the future and to rekindle their hopes.
On March 1, we bring together all the colors of our teams under red and white and hope to create a great synergy with the healing power of football. We are a giant family of 85 million. Our pain and our tears are one. Football is not just football, it means helping each other and giving shoulder to shoulder. Because of this; we invite each and every one of us to “goodness”. We have no time to lose. We are waiting for everyone to support our campaign at the beginning of the screens on March 1st. Come, let’s heal our wounds together.”
MINISTER KASAPOĞLU: ON MARCH 1, WE BECOME ONE HEART, WE WEAR OUR WOUNDS TOGETHER
Minister of Youth and Sports Dr. Mehmet Muharrem Kasapoğlu thanked everyone who supported the “Shoulder to Shoulder” solidarity and mutual aid campaign and made the following assessment:
“Football has a very important place in our country’s history. Football is a branch where many successes have been engraved in our minds, deeply rooted in our hearts and made our nation proud. During the “Disaster of the Century”, we saw that sport is one of the important symbols of solidarity. It is very meaningful that our football world, which has represented the world with honor in these difficult days, is a proof of the noble stance of our nation and these lands that football, which has competition on one side, unites without noticing the community when needed and gives hands on one goal. On this occasion, I would like to thank all the stakeholders who supported the “Shoulder to Shoulder” solidarity and solidarity campaign. I offer my respects to each and every member of the Turkish nation who showed that we are united not only in good times but also in difficult times. On March 1, we become one heart, heal our wounds.
