Shota Arveladze made a statement at the press conference held after the match played at Recep Tayyip Erdoğan Stadium.
Emphasizing that they played very badly in the match, Şota said, “It was not easy for us. We could not show anything for 90 minutes. Eyüpspor actually played as we predicted. We watched and analyzed Eyüpspor. Even though their coaches changed, they did not play very differently. We did not deserve anything from this match. We gave away too many positions. We need to congratulate the opponent. We could not press and stay compact.” he said.
The Georgian coach stated that he did not play his players Pape Habib Gueye, Mortadha Ben Ouanes and Haris Hajradinovic in the match due to their injuries and said, “We had to give others a chance due to injuries. They also need to play. I think the goalkeeper and defense played well in this match. We were very bad in the front.” he said.
