According to the press release of the Los Angeles Police Department, the search began at around 3:25 p.m. on Monday afternoon when the California Highway Patrol asked for support in finding three suspects in a serious accident with a driver. One of the suspects was on foot in a residential area, whereupon the police locked the surroundings.

During the ongoing search, Lauren came out of her house – according to previous knowledge without a connection to the original incident – and wore a firearm. According to police, Lauren several times ignored the emergency services of the emergency services to take off their weapon, and is said to have finally addressed the officials. The police then opened the fire and met them on their shoulders. Lauren retired to her apartment, but stood together around 30 minutes later together with her babysitter of the police. Both women were initially arrested.

Weezer on anniversary tour

Lauren is the author, whose memoirs “Some Girls: My Life in A Harem” (2010) and “Everything You Ever Wanted” (2015) became bestsellers of the “New York Times”. Lauren has been married to Scott Shriner since 2005, who has been a bass player of the rock band Weezer since the early 2000s. Together they have two adopted children. Despite the incident, the band is still planned for a appearance at the Coachella Festival on the weekend of April 11th.

On the occasion of the 30th anniversary of her debut work, the Blue Album (1994), Weezer recently went on tour. Further festival appearances will be on the program in the coming months.
