Shot put Olympic champion Ryan Crouser broke his world record at the traditional Millrose Place indoor meeting in New York.
The American threw 23.38 meters in the second attempt and thus surpassed the outdoor record he had set by one centimeter. The 29-year-old broke the indoor world record he had previously held by 56 centimetres.
